Ingredients
- Broccoli, cut into florets 1
Salad
- Chopped Carrot 1/2 Cup
- Chopped Cucumber 1/2 Cup
- Roasted & Crushed Peanut 1/4 Cup
- Freshly Grated Coconut 1/4 Cup
- Chopped Green Chillies 2
- Chopped Coriander Leaves 1 Tbsp
- Salt to taste
Tadka
- Oil 1 Tbsp
- Cumin 1/2 Tsp
- Hing 1/8 Tsp
How to make
Blanch the broccoli in boiling water, then transfer it to ice-cold water. Drain and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan, add the broccoli, white sesame seeds, and salt. Sauté for 2 minutes.
Transfer the sautéed broccoli to a mixing bowl. Add the carrot, cucumber, peanuts, coconut, green chillies, coriander leaves, and salt. Mix well.
For the tempering, heat oil in a pan, add cumin and hing, and pour it over the salad. Mix well.
Serve immediately and enjoy.
